Just as it seems everyone in Kentucky realizes ObamaCare will be a disaster for the state and should be fought off as a Tenth Amendment issue, a Medicaid issue and one of simply horrible economics, Governor Steve Beshear is stuck in the unenviable position of trying not to take blame for bankrupting the state on his watch while also supporting his political party's most aggressive political gambit.
That should all come to a head in early July when the Obama Administration rules on Beshear's request for an ObamaCare waiver, quietly initiated back on February 16, 2011 with a shocking admission that Kentucky's version of HillaryCare two decades ago destroyed our health insurance market and that ObamaCare will likely have a similar effect.
This is a debate we should be having in public. It is too important to be left to behind the scenes maneuvering of Frankfort politicians in both parties who want to borrow too much, spend too much and rely on federal bailouts when it all goes wrong.
Please forward this message as widely as possible. We need to defeat ObamaCare and our elected representatives shouldn't be allowed to hide in the shadows any longer.
